2. Translating Product Review Apps (Judge.me & Loox)

Social proof is the highest-converting element on your product page. Here is how to ensure reviews display properly in French, German, and Japanese:

Judge.me Localization

  1. In your Shopify admin, open Judge.me.
  2. Navigate to Settings → General Settings → Language.
  3. Select Multiple Languages. Judge.me natively reads Shopify's active market locale (e.g. window.Shopify.locale).
  4. Customize the button text for each locale:
    • English: "Write a review"
    • French: "Écrire un avis"
    • German: "Bewertung schreiben"
    • Japanese: "レビューを書く"

3. Localizing Klaviyo Popups & Forms

Showing an English signup popup with a "$10 Off Your First Order" coupon to a shopper in Tokyo or Berlin leads to high dismissal rates.

In Klaviyo:

  1. Go to Sign-up Forms.
  2. Duplicate your main welcome form and name it "Welcome Popup - French Market".
  3. Under Targeting & Behavior, set the display condition to: Show to visitors with URL containing /fr/ or Location: France.
  4. Translate the coupon headline and button to French: "Profitez de 10 € de réduction sur votre première commande".
